First post

In our youth we all had things we excelled at and those things that never really bothered to learn. For me when i was younger i learned to read much younger than most and was quickly infatuated with it. The combination of the pride i felt from out pacing my classmates and the magic places it took me soon made is so could almost often be found held up in my room barred under a mound of blankets lost in a another world, worlds of magic, of dragons, and worlds of wonder. Slowly but surely my infatuation worked its way in to my school life with me spending more time with my nose in a book than listening to the lesson at hand.
It just so happened that my obsession peaked when it came time for us to learn the months in order. Having never payed attention to them i easily failed the quiz over them and took to a desperatie attempt to learn them in order to regain my former pride and sense of superiority  over my classmates but time and time again i would arrive home dash to my room with every intent of studying them but the book on my dresser seemed to call to to me demanding my attention before i had done more than glimpsed at the months.
To this day i still do not honestly know the months in order as much as it embarrasses me to admit it i just never got around to it and more and more it seems unnecessary to me with a calendar a mere button push away on my phone i still cant convince myself to take the time to learn them. Leaving me a person who graduated in the top part of their class, a person whom scored very well on AP test to be out smarted by third graders.
